As I mentioned in my last blog, Bush & Co. declared Louisiana a national emergency/disaster area. Well, parts of Louisiana. According to the White House press release that declared the emergency, all of the parishes above in red were declared in the announcement. No mention was made of the rest of the parishes. Does anyone see a problem with this? If my 4th grade science class serves me, I remember that huricanes come from the ocean, which is south of Louisianna, not from Arkansas.
